Fútbol runs through your veins. It is the pulse of our Hispanic culture. It is a family activity and a constant celebration.
The soccer field is the perfect place to identify young Hispanics like yourself who display captaincy skills and to help them develop as the future leaders America needs.
This program is about education, access to career opportunities, and opening minds. It is about providing resources, connections, tools and skill development. It is about Hispanics winning as individuals, team players and community members.

WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR?
Hispanic youth, boys and girls 12-18 years old, passionate about soccer and interested in becoming future leaders on and off the field.
WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM START?
The program kicks off in September. Between now and then, registered Capitanes will be receiving unique digital content and invitations to special events.
HOW MANY KIDS WILL JOIN?
Right now we are looking for 500 kids per city but open to serve more children as needed.
WHAT IS THE PROGRAM DURATION?
Capitanes del Futuro is an ongoing program that combines in-person and online activities. It is intended to become a life-long source of support. Once a member, always a member.
DO I HAVE TO PLAY SOCCER TO JOIN?
No, but you must have a passion for the game. Soccer is at the core of the program.
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This program will help you become a Capitán on and off the field. It will open doors and give you access to the behind the scenes world of soccer and sports marketing through special events at the club, internships, courses, mentoring, apprenticeships and scholarships.
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A THE PROGRAM?
The application process is exclusively handled online through the Hispanic Star website.
WHO IS BEHIND THIS INITIATIVE?
This initiative is brought to you as part of the MLS Works community impact ‘Soccer for All’ program. Capitanes del Futuro is built in partnership with Gillette and Always, flagship brands within the P&G family, and major Hispanic community organizations.
CAN I DO THIS PROGRAM IN SPANISH?
Yes. Events in person might not be fully bilingual, depending on your location. However, there will always be Spanish speaking staff. Whenever possible, online content will also be available in Spanish.
