WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
We are on a mission to spotlight America’s Latino and Hispanic changemakers— individuals from every corner of the United States, who, in everyday capacities, are passionately igniting positive change across our communities. Whether they hail from bustling urban centers or tranquil outskirts, boardrooms, or schoolrooms, these changemakers view challenges as pathways to progress. While their efforts might not always be in the spotlight, their influence is undeniable, fostering transformation and inspiration for all.
In recognition of the significant contributions made by Latinos in the United States, ASHOKA & We Are All Human are launching the
“Hispanic Star Awards: Changemakers Shaping America.”
This Award aims to celebrate and bring visibility to
- Up to 19 Latino Changemakers who embody the spirit of transformative change and their ideas to drive positive societal change.
- Representing the dynamic 19% of the U.S. population.
- Spotlighting these exemplary changemakers – individuals who are having a transformative impact across different sectors of society.

ABOUT THE HISPANIC LEADERSHIP SUMMIT
December 6th & 7th | The United Nations, New York City
The Hispanic Leadership Summit (6th edition) will be a data-driven, consensus-seeking, high-level, interactive, and inspirational event for Hispanics and non-Hispanics to strategize effective action for companies, and create intentional networks of cross-sector, cross-industry support to progress, celebrate and uplift the community.
Awardees of the Hispanic Star Award: Changemakers Shaping the U.S. will be publicly announced during the event, followed by a panel highlighting the importance of supporting Changemakers and the ripple effect impact on the community.
