Tara was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Her mom hailed from Ponce, while her father came from a small town in Puerto Rico called Catano. She is married and has a 17-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. Tara and her family relocated to NC five years ago and currently reside in Apex, NC. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a second Master’s in Education with a focus on General and Special Education for grades 1-6. Being the middle child, Tara has a half-brother and sadly lost her younger brother five months ago. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her family and watching her daughter excel in soccer and her son thrive in football.
