SHAWN EDWARDS
As Bloomberg’s Chief Technology O cer, Shawn Edwards oversees its global technology strategy. His team partners with Bloomberg Engineering to develop the company’s market data, analytics, news, and community products; research existing and emerging technologies; and architect strategic technical solutions—including enhancing its core business, the Bloomberg Terminal. Shawn advances Bloomberg’s engagement with academia, including research fellowships, grants, and sponsorships, and leads engagement with open-source and developer communities. Institutional Investor has repeatedly named him a top technology leader in nance. Shawn is Vice Chairman of Latino U College Access (LUCA), a nonpro t that helps Latino youth enroll and succeed in college.
