SHARIMAR COLÓN- RODRÍGUEZ

Sharimar Colón-Rodríguez is an electrical engineer from Aibonito, Puerto Rico, currently working as a design engineer with Southern Nuclear in Alabama. She graduated magna cum laude in 2013 and was selected to be part of several recognized groups such as the Tau Beta Pi Honor Society, Fem Prof, and has received multiple scholarships for her leadership and honors.

As part of her current design role, she is responsible for design development and equipment for commercial nuclear plants. She also serves as a leader in di erent groups, including being the current chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion council for her facility.
