RAMONA CHAVEZ

Ramona Chavez is a sociologist, community advocate, volunteer, entrepreneur, world traveler, and blogger of Mona’s Family Emporium. Her latest projects include celebrations around the world and ethnography (the study of customs and cultures).

Ramona has lived/traveled across the globe and loves to share her experience surrounding cultural competency and awareness. She enjoys writing and has published articles in Living Magazine, Southlake Style Magazine, and Gateway People’s social media relating to “Gathering at the Table.”

Ramona was born in Mexico, migrated to the United States at the age of ve, and submitted her naturalized citizen documents upon entering college in hopes of receiving a scholarship, but it was not finalized until after she completed her bachelor’s degree.
