Nury Castillo Crawford has a positive track record of being a transformational leader. Her journey in education has included collaborations with stakeholders in order to maximize resources and information for the community.

Nury is the owner of 1010 Publishing focusing on the dissemination of bilingual books and “THE little BOOK SPOT- a multilingual bookstore” along with a brick and mortar free library. All created to increase access to literacy with an emphasis in bilingualism.

Nury has been recognized nationally for her leadership, including in 2022 being named a national Latino leader and a recipient of the TUMI Award.
