Miguel Castillo

Miguel Castillo is an Executive Director of Schools, a former school principal and a math teacher. He began his education career 29 years ago. His passion is serving underprivileged, underserved, and historically marginalized students of color and communities. His work in school improvement led to his school being named one of the best schools in Texas and California and was featured on the front page of the New York Times and the national news network Univision. An immigrant and former migrant farmworker, he believes in providing the same equal opportunities he had to struggling students for a chance at a better life.
