MIGUEL ALEMANY

From a Catalan family, born in Puerto Rico, and living in Ohio, Miguel Alemany earned his engineering degree from the University of Puerto Rico. A forty-year R&D veteran of Procter & Gamble, he worked in every business unit before retiring as VP of R&D. Miguel is currently the Chair of the Board and interim CEO for SHPE. He is a tireless advocate for Hispanic issues, an in-demand public speaker, and a trainer on differences in work environment between Anglos and Hispanics. Fluent in three languages and able to function in seven, Miguel has a passion for travel and culture. An avid car enthusiast and race car driver, he believes stress disappears once you pass 180 mph.
