Translational Bioinformatics Lead, Solarea Bio.

Maria Juliana Soto-Giron is a Colombian scientist and a Latinx Amplifier building a career in healthcare, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Currently, she works at Solarea Bio as the Translational Bioinformatics Lead. Juliana holds a Ph.D in Bioinformatics and a M.S in Molecular Biology. Juliana was recognized by WEST (Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology) in 2020 for her leadership role as a Latin-American women ambassador in STEM and awarded 40 under 40 class 2020 by Georgia Tech because of the significant impact that her work is having in improving human health, particularly postmenopausal women.
