MANUELITA CODY

Manuelita Cody was born in Cali-Colombia and grew up in Bogotá. She attended Gimnasio Femenino, an all-girls Catholic school. Forced to leave Colombia at the age of sixteen due to its social instability, Manuelita moved to the United States, where she learned English and eventually graduated cum laude from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration.

Manuelita worked in the financial services industry for many years as a financial advisor, trainer and supervisor. She transitioned to a different industry and career and has been the president of the North American Chilean Chamber of Commerce since 2016.
