HUMBERTO BAQUERIZO

Dr. Humberto Baquerizo is the CEO/President of Mentor U Connect and the Hispanic A air Commissioner for the City of Newark. He co-founded and is a team member of the Cancer Health Justice Lab (CHJL) at Rutgers School of Public Health, a community ambassador for University Hospital, and a program/ educational specialist at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

Dr. Baquerizo has a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Caldwell University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a BS in Engineering Science from NJIT. His research interests include social determinants of health, student success, grit, resilience, and underrepresented minorities pipeline initiatives.
