FERNANDA TAPIA

Fernanda Tapia was born in Quito, Ecuador, and moved to Washington, D.C., at the age of 14. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Strayer University, a project management executive certificate from Virginia Tech, and a master’s degree in technology management from Georgetown University. While at Georgetown, she was nominated to the Hoya Professional 30 class of 2018. Fernanda is a bilingual leader with over 15 years of combined experience in energy and utilities, and federal and private consulting. She had the opportunity to become a member of Prospanica and later served on the chapter boards supporting and promoting higher education among Hispanics. She enjoys traveling around the world and pairing food with a nice glass of wine.
