DR. GUSTAVO STOLOVITZKY

Dr. Gustavo Stolovitzky is an Argentine-American scientist, serving as the chair of IBM Research Exploratory Life Science Program. He is also an adjunct associate professor of Biomedical Informatics at Columbia University. With 80+ issued patents and 150+ published papers, Gustavo is the founder of the Dialogue for Reverse Engineering Assessments and Methods (DREAM). DREAM is an international collaboration whose mission is to promote open science and data sharing to solve pressing biomedical problems faced by society today. Because of his work on crowdsourcing and nanobiotechnology, Gustavo has been appointed an IBM Fellow, a distinction held by only 114 of 350,000 IBM employees worldwide.
