Born and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Delia is part of generation 0, being the first in her family to immigrate to the US from Colombia 8 years ago at the age of 27. Despite the passage of time, her entire family still resides in Colombia. Delia pursued a degree in Economics in her home country and found employment in a Stock Brokerage Company, providing assistance to traders. However, the job proved to be highly stressful, demanding, and poorly paid. Combined with the recent breakup with her boyfriend, Delia made the life-altering decision to leave her homeland in search of better job prospects and an improved quality of life.
